The Historical Society of Olde Northfield operates the Palmer House, an 1844 vertical plank-walled house, as its museum.

Brandywine Falls
The area had a grist mill, sawmill and a woolen mill and is now an attraction for its Falls; situated next to the Old Wallace House now called Brandywine Bed and Breakfast Inn. Steps were built to the bottom of the Falls and a small picnic area.

Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery
Olde Rt. 8
Veterans from the War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American War, World Wars I & II, Korean War, Vietnam are buried in the cemetery. On Memorial Day the Parade ends with the proper Memorial Ceremony honoring the Veterans.

Towpath
Red Lock from Ohio Canal at the foot of Highland Road in Sagamore Hills
It now extends all the way to Akron one way and the opposite way along the old canal to Independence. The old bridge across the Cuyahoga River and old canal next to the Route 82 bridge has been fully restored as a hike and bike trail.

The Palmer House Museum
This museum is surrounded by a flower garden, mostly perennials and in the summer annuals, and including an herb garden. Decorated at Christmas time on the outside.
