Join us for a low tea (with cookies) and a mystery at the Perkins Stone Mansion to discuss the next book in our Mutton Hill Book Club series.
The Society book club is open to all and you don't have to have completed reading the book to attend. Discussion is lively and interactive and this month we'll be solving a mystery in the Perkins Stone Mansion.
Christmas Eve 1814
Jane Austen has been invited to spend the holidays with family and friends at the wealthy Chute family home. One of the Yuletide revelers dies during the snowbound weekend. It is up to Jane to discover the truth before the killer strikes again. Secrets, politics and a game of charades are the ingredients of this mystery and time is of the essence.
The event will be hosted from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for Society members and $15 for nonmembers. Sign up on EventBrite or call the Society office at 330.535.1120 to make your reservation.
Books are available via Akron-Summit County Public Library (with local links) or order online at Barnes and Noble / Amazonsmile (choose SCHS as your perferred charity).
