Join us for a hike from the John Brown House (514 Diagonal Road, Akron) to the John Brown Monument on the grounds of the Akron Zoo where Dave Lieberth will tell the story of Akron and Summit County's most consequential resident. Participants must be able to walk on terrain that is uneven and at a slight grade.
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
Report to the John Brown House to see the new exhibit, "Family.Farm.Freedom." plus receive instructions for driving to the Akron Zoo for specific parking to hike up to the John Brown Monument.
