Renee Hennemann

Curatorial Assistant

Renee Hennemann began volunteering with the Summit County Historical Society in 2014, first at Lock 3, as part of the Akron History Exhibit, then later at the storage facility with the curator. She is a graduate from The College of Wooster, where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Archaeology and Art History with a minor in History. Renee later went on to attend an archaeology field school on Johnson's Island, which was ran by Heidelberg University.  Before becoming a curatorial assistant, she also spent several months as a collections inventory intern at the Canton Museum of Art.
