Age of Aquarius: Woodstock 50th Anniversary Celebration

Aug 16, 2019

6-9 p.m.

Welcome to our Farm!  Woodstock didn't happen in Akron but the music that was a movement for the next generation is still making waves today.  Join us in remembering our history and celebrating the future.

Dig out your bell bottoms, tie-dyed t-shirts and protest buttons because the peace bird is back. We're ready to party and celebrate the summer of love.  Join us for the music and fun.  Peace and Love!

Headlining: Dave Nachmanoff, folk rock

Mr. Nachmanoff has performed at Royal Albert Hall in London and has worked with Al Stewart,  Pink Floyd and many others. He is coming to us from California to visit his friend, Denise Remark Lundell, for our anniversary event.

Featuring: The Hal Walker Trio (in reference to Crosby, Stills and Nash), Tap the KegFish (highlighting rock and The Band), NADIA (playing Janis Joplin) and Geo Jones on electric guitar for the Star Spangled Banner

We are looking to cover the many genres at Woodstock. Just added Matthew DeConigh who will play his sitar focusing on Hindustani Classical.

Photo opts by a vintage VW Van thanks to Kate Raymond and Michelle Krocker. Trivia on the lawn and old friends and new ones too! Thank you to Woodsy's for supporting sound for the evening.

Vendors for food, psychics and crafts will be on hand.  This is an adult event. (Children may join us earlier in the day at 11:30 for Singing with the Sheep fun on Mutton Hill.)

Costumes and love beads encouraged.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
