15th Annual Rubber City Road Rally

Sep 14, 2019

Start your engines!

We will set out on a vagabond journey much like Harvey Firestone did over one hundred years ago with his friends naturalist John Burroughs, inventor Thomas Edison and auto giant Henry Ford. Lendy Firestone Brown, honorary chair, will not be able to join us for the route but she has loaned her family's memorabilia from these historic traverses through the American countryside to show donors of the event.

Help us raise funds to support educational programming and grounds maintenance for our historic homes of Mutton Hill! This year's event will start on the grounds of the Perkins Stone Mansion near our flock of sheep on temporary loan from The Spicy Lamb Farm where the trail will end for an evening of good food and fun.

The road rally is a predetermined road course along Summit County byways with a "scavenger hunt" thrown in to make the route more challenging for those competing for the 1st place trophy.

Advance registration is required as your ticket covers the cost of the rally, open bar, hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert:

$95 for Society members, $110 non-members

$775 for a table of 8

$150 patron / $275 patron couple
