Dave Gates, Society Education Specialist, will be leading a free hike up to the John Brown Monument on Saturday, July 19th at 10 a.m. Enter the Akron Zoo through the main entrance off Euclid Avenue and look for the signs directing you to the left back parking lot.
Please note that this hike is on uneven uphill land. Wear appropriate footwear - no sandals as the path is a thick mulch. The program will occur rain or shine, except in the case of a thunderstorm.
The hike last approximately one hour. It does not include admission to the Akron Zoo, but there is no fee to park.
