Remember When...© Interactive Programs for Adults
Remember When… offers a pleasant assortment of historic programming from independent/assisted living, nursing communities and area clubs, organizations libraries, etc. From the enormity of two world wars to a walk down memory land in Grandma’s Attic and Grandpa’s Garage, audiences examine artifacts and memorabilia, share stories and Remember When…

School Field Trips
Located on the historic Portage Path at the corner of Copley Rd. and S. Portage Path, the Perkins Stone Mansion was home to Col. Simon Perkins, his wife Grace Tod Perkins and their eleven children. The mansion and grounds remained in the Perkins family until 1945 when it was purchased by The Summit County Historical Society of Akron.
School tours available Tuesday through Friday, April through the middle of December. Closed holidays and weekends.

Discovery Trunks
Discovery Trunks are self-contained footlockers filled with artifacts, each to fit a particular historical theme. They are designed to take the museum experience into the classroom which allows students the freedom of touching, operating and trying on objects from our past. The trunks include classroom activities and background narratives which can be adapted to a teacher’s particular need.
